For the Scrabble lover in your life we have vintage scrabble tile made into pendants using silver.

In 1931 an unemployed architect , Alfred Mosher Butts created the game "Lexiko" which was changed to "criss-Cross Words" and later came to be known as Scrabble.

This very popular game is played with two to four players whom score points by forming words from individual letter tiles that have points on them, on a game board marked with a 15x15 grid.

IN the United States, the name Scrabble is trademarked by Hasbro, inc. Scrabble is sold in 121 countries with 29 different language versions. Worldwide, over  one hundred and fifty million sets have been sold.   It is
no possible to play Scrabble in Japanese's or Chinese, but they play in English with a rule book in their own language.

1984 - Scrabble became a daytime game show on NBC
1989 - The highest score for one game is 1049 by Philip Appleby from Lymington

Scrabble dictionary has ever included a word that was voted on by the fans and it's the first major
update to the Scrabble dictionary in nearly a decade

National Scrabble Day is celebrated today in honor of the birth of Alfred Mosher Butts, born on April
     13,  1899.

.
